The official launch timeline of the Vivo X100 Series has been unveiled by the President of Vivo Global. Recently, Digital Chat Station disclosed the key specifications of the Vivo X100 Pro+ smartphone. Earlier details from The Tech Outlook provided a comprehensive insight into the specifications of the standard X100 smartphone. The Chinese informant had previously indicated that Vivo was planning to introduce this smartphone before the conclusion of 2023. The forthcoming X100 series will encompass the X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+ smartphones.

Preceding the unfolding events, Vivo has officially declared the impending launch of the X100 smartphone in the Chinese market. The President of Vivo Global, via a statement, has divulged the timeline for the launch of the upcoming X100 and X100 Pro smartphones. Additionally, the President conveyed that the introduction of the X100 Pro+ model will follow subsequently. In the early part of the upcoming year, Vivo is also anticipated to make an announcement regarding the Vivo X Fold 3.
In the context of a recent gathering, Shen Wei, the President of Vivo Global, has affirmed the company’s plans to introduce the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China by the culmination of 2023. A well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, has disclosed that Vivo is aiming to unveil these smartphones in the month of November.

Another report has indicated that the launch of the X100 Pro+ smartphone is anticipated during the first quarter of 2024, specifically in China. Following this, Vivo’s plan includes releasing the smartphones in global markets by the second quarter of the same year. The President of Vivo Global also added an interesting detail that 130 dedicated Vivo enthusiasts will be presented with the X100 Pro smartphone as a gesture during the launch event.
Anticipated enhancements in camera capabilities are expected to accompany the debut of the upcoming smartphones. It is rumored that Vivo will integrate an independent V3 ISP into these smartphones, constructed using a 6nm manufacturing process. This integration is aimed at augmenting the camera performance of the forthcoming devices.
As per the grapevine, the forthcoming X100 series smartphones will boast an OLED display. This display is projected to feature a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. Notably, the display will include a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout designed to house the front-facing camera.

Beneath the exterior, the standard X100 and X100 Pro smartphones are rumored to be powered by the forthcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. This chipset is speculated to be fabricated using a 4nm process and is slated for an October release. Comprising eight cores, the chipset will include four Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 cores, along with an Arm Immortalis G720 GPU.
