Vivo iQOO Pro 5G will officially launch on August 22. Ever since Qualcomm introduced the upgraded Snapdragon 855 SoC, newer versions of gaming phones have emerged.
After the Asus ROG Phone II, ZTE nubia Red Magic 3 and Black Shark 2 Pro, Vivo is now joining the iQOO Pro 5G. The phone will be introduced on August 22.
Vivo has not yet officially announced the Snapdragon 855 Plus, but apparently, the company wants to compete with iQOO over other gaming phones.
According to rumors, it may be named Plus instead of Pro.
It can be similar to Vivo’s first iQOO phone, which can have up to 4500mAh battery with three cameras on the back, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and 44W fast charging support.
The phone also has 5G in its name, which indicates that the company is releasing its first handset for the next generation network. This means that it will have Snapdragon X50 modem with Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset.
The phone may be priced at 4498 yuan or $ 650 or 580 euros, but other storage options may reduce the price of the phone. The remaining details of this phone will be revealed on August 22.
