According to a report from MySmartPrice, Samsung has scheduled exclusive launch events for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in Canada and the United States, which will take place on August 11, 2023. This aligns with Samsung’s customary timeline for unveiling new foldable phones and smartwatches. While specific details regarding these events remain scarce, it is anticipated that Samsung will showcase a range of innovative devices alongside the foldable phones.
During the event, Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, as well as other highly anticipated products, including the Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Earlier reports have already hinted at the introduction of the Galaxy SmartTag object tracker, which is projected to be showcased during this event.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are anticipated to feature a novel hinge mechanism and the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 6 series will largely retain the same features as its predecessors but will be equipped with the Exynos W980 processor. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is expected to reintroduce the rotating bezels.
