Samsung Unbox & Discover 2023 Launches Globally with New Innovations

Samsung’s global subsidiaries commenced their Unbox & Discover (U&D) 2023 in April, unveiling their latest product lineups in local markets and allowing preorders of new items. After a three-year pause from holding in-person events due to the pandemic, Samsung has finally held its first offline U&D event to showcase its latest innovations.

Major subsidiaries worldwide, including those in the United States, Australia, and Singapore, hosted the event at special venues, bringing together key retailers, media personalities, and influencers to demonstrate the innovative experiences offered by Samsung’s 2023 TV models, which are centered on its Neo QLED 8K.

This year’s U&D event is themed “Global One Launch,” with all participating subsidiaries hosting simultaneous events across the world, both in-person and virtually. Samsung Newsroom provides an in-depth look at the Unbox & Discover 2023, which provides rich customer experiences at iconic landmarks worldwide.

Expanding Collaborations with Creators in America:

Samsung Electronics America has launched the Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K, highlighting upgraded features and larger screen sizes. The company has also added an ultra-large 98-inch model to the product lineup, alongside its unveiling of more sophisticated and groundbreaking technologies, such as Auto HDR Remastering and 8K AI upscaling. Among other media outlets, TechRadar highly praised the QN900C, the top Neo QLED 8K model, for its industry-leading picture quality, stating, “There were many moments when I silently uttered ‘wow’ while viewing, and that’s certainly not something I find myself doing with every TV I test.”

Samsung Electronics America is planning to collaborate with various creators in a series of digital content to showcase how Samsung home entertainment products improve connectivity and personalize experiences, making our daily lives better.

In celebration of U&D, Samsung Electronics America has also launched a limited-time offer. Customers who purchase the QN800C or QN900C from the official Samsung website or select retail stores by April 16th will receive a free 32-inch Frame.

Modeling the Samsung Lifestyle in Australia:

On the other side of the globe, Samsung Electronics Australia hosted an offline U&D event, targeting key retailers, VIPs, media personalities, and influencers at the WatersEdge in The Rocks, Sydney. To demonstrate its “Screens for every Experience” theme, Samsung Electronics Australia showcased its product lineups in different rooms of a model home, playing out various scenarios to show visitors how Samsung TVs can seamlessly integrate into users’ lifestyles.

Intimate Screen Experiences Across Europe:

European subsidiaries, including those in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Serbia, also hosted the U&D event both online and offline, capturing the attention of local media. The subsidiaries started a countdown timer for U&D on their websites on April 5th to build excitement and stimulate conversations leading up to the event.

Telegraf, a renowned local media outlet, stated, “This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with a large number of new devices all at once, to witness the entire Bespoke ecosystem. New TV devices also look impressive. ‘Home cinema’ is becoming more and more interesting to both us and our readers.”

Unbox & Discover, Samsung’s global launch event, provided customized experiences for each local market, giving a global audience insight into this year’s product portfolio. The event provided a platform for attendees to hear from product experts and see the innovative product lineup ahead of its global rollout.
