Samsung’s forthcoming 14.6-inch deluxe tablet has attained certification in the United States.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Samsung’s pinnacle tablet for 2023, has recently received approval from the FCC, according to GSM Arena. We anticipate the unveiling of the tablet to coincide with the introduction of the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9, expected to take place in late July (most likely on July 26th) during the forthcoming Unpacked event. This event, set to be held in Seoul, South Korea, will likely showcase the revelation of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Galaxy Watch 6, and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic as well.

Although the FCC report did not divulge extensive details regarding the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, previous rumors have suggested the inclusion of a 14.6-inch OLED display boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz. As for the internal hardware, one can expect the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset to power this Galaxy SoC. The tablet’s potential configuration options may include 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage, 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, and a robust 16GB of RAM combined with 512GB of storage.

Moreover, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, certified by the FCC, will reportedly offer variants with storage capacities of 256GB and 512GB, utilizing state-of-the-art UFS 4.0 storage technology, while the 128GB model will incorporate UFS 3.1. To ensure prolonged usage, a substantial 11,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging capability and IP68 dust and water resistance has been integrated. Theoretically, this tablet should be impervious to dust particles and capable of being submerged in clear water to a depth of nearly 5 feet for up to 30 minutes.

Significantly, the FCC documentation has provided some insights into the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. We now know that Samsung’s premier tablet will carry the model number SM-X910. Additionally, the tablet will include the S Pen (identified by the model number EJ-PX710), just like all the other tablets in the Galaxy Tab S9 series. In terms of design, the Galaxy Tab S9 line bears a strong resemblance to the Galaxy Tab S8 series from the previous year, as evidenced by a render of the Galaxy Tab S9+, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the Galaxy Tab S8+.
