The question of whether the Radeon RX 7900 GRE merits inclusion among the finest graphics cards is yet to be answered. As the latest Navi 31-based graphics card becomes available worldwide, its performance against AMD’s other RDNA 3 offerings will soon be revealed.

The Golden Rabbit Edition of Radeon RX 7900 (RX 7900 GRE) is currently priced at $649 in the Chinese market. However, it is gradually making its way beyond China through system integrators. One such integrator, MemoryPC, offers six distinctive prebuilt gaming systems equipped with the latest Radeon RX 7900 GRE, priced between $1,098.25 to $1,922.76, including value-added tax (VAT) and complimentary shipping.

The most affordable prebuilt system boasts a Ryzen 5 5600 processor, 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory, and an Adata Legend 710 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD. Meanwhile, the high-end systems feature either the Ryzen 7 5800X3D or the Core i9-12900K, both renowned for their exceptional gaming performance. The former is equipped with 32GB of DDR4-3600 memory paired with a WD Black SN850X 1TB SSD, while the latter comes with 32GB of DDR5-5600 and a WD Blue SN570 1TB drive. As for the Radeon RX 7900 GRE, MemoryPC has opted for the XFX-branded MBA (Made by AMD) reference design to power its gaming PCs.

The Radeon RX 7900 GRE has also ventured into the Australian market, where PLE Computers offers a prebuilt PC priced at a staggering $2,277.54. The price may seem extravagant for the components housed within the gaming system, but computer hardware generally carries a higher price tag in Australia.

The Australian gaming PC features a Ryzen 7 7700 processor paired with 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 2TB Crucial P3 Plus SSD. Similar to MemoryPC, PLE Computers has employed the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE for their prebuilt machine. Additionally, Sapphire and PowerColor have introduced their Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE and Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE, respectively, offering two more custom options for system integrators. These custom SKUs are expected to command a slight premium compared to the MBA model due to their aggressive design and factory overclock.

As of now, U.S. system integrators have yet to present gaming PCs based on the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. For those who cannot wait, the retail Radeon RX 7900 GRE is available on Chinese online platforms like JD.com, but bear in mind that customs duties and shipping will increase the cost beyond $649. Nevertheless, in due time, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE will likely be available from third-party merchants like Newegg or eBay, just like numerous other hardware components.
