POCO C65: A Budget Smartphone with Upgraded Features
POCO has introduced a new low-cost smartphone to the global market. The POCO C65 is the company’s most recent offering, a C-series device. It is the C55’s successor, which was unveiled earlier this year. The C65 has a few improvements over its predecessor. Notably, the smartphone appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C, which is expected to be released soon. Continue reading to find out what the POCO C65 has to offer right out of the box.
Specifications and features of the POCO C65
The POCO C65 sports a boxy shape with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner incorporated in the power button. The back panel features two protruding camera rings beneath a rectangular finish with the POCO trademark on the right side. On the front, the smartphone has a 6.74-inch display with a waterdrop notch and a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It has Gorilla Glass protection from accidental damage and scratches.
The POCO C65 boasts two rear cameras with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera. There are numerous camera modes available for image enhancement.
The POCO C65 has a MediaTek Helio G85 CPU under the hood. The processor supports up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also virtual RAM technology and an SD card port for storage expansion. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh uni-battery with 18W rapid charging capabilities. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 14 software.
The POCO C65 has a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The POCO C65 is available in Black, Blue, and Purple. The smartphone is available in RAM and storage combinations of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
