The Pixel 8 Pro has now graced Google’s official website with its presence.
Google’s line of Pixel phones has consistently served as the subject of a multitude of leaks. We’ve already been privy to glimpses of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro through reliable sources. However, Google has preempted the usual course of events by revealing an image of the Pro variant on its sanctioned website.
The Pixel 8 Pro takes center stage in an elegant porcelain depiction on Google’s promotional page dedicated to “Google Subscriptions & Services.” This captivating visual was discovered and subsequently shared by the user android_setting on X (previously known as Twitter).
Upon initial observation, discerning the disparities between the leaked image of the Pixel 8 Pro and its predecessor, the Pixel 7 Pro, proves to be a challenge. The two Tensor-equipped phones present a striking resemblance, marked only by a handful of subtle distinctions. Only upon closer inspection does it become apparent that the rear camera module on the phone, as depicted in the leaked image, boasts a novel design. The Pixel 8 Pro showcases its trio of primary cameras ensconced within a singular, pill-shaped housing, setting itself apart from the Pixel 7 Pro, which followed a pill + circle configuration.
The forthcoming Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to feature a flat display, marking a departure from the norm for the Pro-tier Pixels. However, the image disseminated by Google on its website offers a limited vantage point, revealing solely the back panel of the phone.
