How to get WiFi Password on Computer and Laptop in Windows 10 8 7

How to get WiFi Password on a Computer and Laptop in Windows 10 8 7? As you may already know, the WiFi password is a crucial piece of information that allows you to connect to a wireless network. If you have forgotten or lost your WiFi password, you can retrieve it on your computer or laptop running on Windows 10, 8, or 7 using a few simple methods.

One way to get the WiFi password is through the Command Prompt. First, open the Command Prompt by pressing the Windows key + R, typing “cmd” and pressing Enter. Then, type “netsh wlan show profile” and press Enter. This will display the profiles of all the WiFi networks you have connected to.

Next, type “netsh wlan show profile <network_name> key=clear” and replace “<network_name>” with the name of the network whose password you want to retrieve. Press Enter, and the Command Prompt will display the security settings of the network, including the password under “Key Content”.

Another way to get the WiFi password is through the Network and Sharing Center. First, go to the Control Panel and click on “Network and Sharing Center”. Then, click on the name of the WiFi network you want to retrieve the password for. This will open the WiFi Status window.

Next, click on “Wireless Properties” and then click on the “Security” tab. Check the box next to “Show characters” and the WiFi password will be displayed under “Network security key”.

If you have previously connected to the WiFi network using a mobile device, you can also retrieve the password from your device’s settings. For example, on an iPhone, go to “Settings” > “WiFi” and click on the (i) icon next to the network name. The password will be displayed under “WiFi Password”.
