In this video tutorial, I am going to tell you How to Allow or Block Pop Ups on Google Chrome Browser…
In this tutorial, I will be demonstrating how to allow or block pop-ups on the Google Chrome browser. Pop-ups are windows that open automatically on your screen when you visit a website. While some pop-ups are necessary, such as those that request permission to access your microphone or camera, others can be annoying and intrusive. With the following steps, you can easily allow or block pop-ups on the Google Chrome browser.
To begin, open your Google Chrome browser and click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select “Settings.” Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Advanced” to expand the settings options.
Under the “Privacy and Security” section, click on “Site Settings.” From the list of options, click on “Pop-ups and redirects.” Here, you can toggle the switch to either “Allowed” or “Blocked” to enable or disable pop-ups on your browser.
If you want to allow pop-ups on a specific website, click on “Add” under the “Allow” section and enter the website URL. Conversely, if you want to block pop-ups on a specific website, click on “Add” under the “Block” section and enter the website URL.
Once you have made your selections, click on the “Back” button to save your changes and exit the settings menu.
It is important to note that while blocking pop-ups can prevent unwanted ads and scams, some websites require pop-ups to function properly. Therefore, it is recommended to allow pop-ups on trusted websites that require them for important features.
