Honor’s Magic v2 Launch Insights: Foldable Marvels
There’s a lot of buzz circulating about the upcoming foldable smartphone from Honor. However, there’s some confusion about whether it will be called the Honor Magic Vs 2 or the Magic V Slim. Currently, we don’t have an official answer due to a lack of information from Honor. When it comes to official certifications, we’ve noticed that the Honor Magic Vs 2 is listed on both 3C and MIIT, and most recently, it’s also received the HDR Plus Certificate.
These certifications suggest that the launch of the Honor Magic Vs 2 is on the horizon, expected to take place during the September 13 launch event for Honor’s new foldable device. While the HDR listing doesn’t reveal much, it does confirm that the device will support HDR10+ for its display. This confirmation also indicates that the launch is approaching, given that it has received three public certifications in the span of a single week.
Leaks from earlier sources have hinted that the device might come with a 35W fast-charging feature. If this holds true, it would mark the first time an Honor smartphone boasts an outward foldable design. However, specific details about the device’s features are still under wraps.
In addition to all this, Honor has plans to unveil two more foldable models at the IFA 2023 event on September 1. Alongside the slim or lite foldable models, the company is expected to introduce the Honor Magic V2, and there’s even a possibility of it being accompanied by the Magic Vs 2 variant.
