Google Assistant can read out text replies on WhatsApp and Telegram. Google Assistant has the option of reading your SMS aloud for a long time but this option was not readable by other third-party apps. 

According to reports, Google Assistant will now read non-Google apps such as WhatsApp and Telegram messages. You can respond to messages by speaking or typing if you want.

English language support is currently added for this feature.

Not all users will have this feature upgraded so quickly. Since this is a big enough update, it will take a long time for everyone to upgrade.

The feature of reading aloud messages will be useful while driving, cooking or doing many other tasks. This feature allows you to respond to incoming messages while you’re busy.
