Android 14 x One UI 6.0 upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series
For the Galaxy Tab 8 series, Samsung has begun to push out the highly anticipated Android 14 upgrade in Europe. With the release of One UI 6.0, the Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra are about to experience a change.
Every variety of the Tab S8 series, X706BXXU5CWK7 for the vanilla S8, X806BXXU5CWK7 for the Plus model, and X906BXXU5CWK7 for the Ultra flagship will receive a firmware update. The tablets will also be receiving the November 2023 security patch, which eliminates 37 vulnerabilities, in addition to these upgrades.
The home screen and lock screen have been modified as part of the One UI 6.0 upgrade, which offers “a new look for your Galaxy.” Users can also expect updated versions of apps like Members and Wallet, as well as changes relating to Android 14 that improve user data authorization settings.
The update also indicates that the tablets would receive more upgrades to many other standard programmes, such as Samsung DeX, and more tweaks and enhancements to multitasking, popup windows, and multi-window capabilities.
Samsung usually rolls out upgrades gradually, so if you’re waiting patiently outside of Europe for the update, don’t worry—it should be on your device in a few days.
