itel introduces the P55 Series, featuring India’s initial 24GB RAM and 45W charging.
itel has released two further smartphones, the itel P55 and P55+, as part of its Power line. These devices are a notable improvement in the sub-10K smartphone category, showcasing India’s initial 24GB* RAM and the fastest charging speed of 45W within their price range. The P55 series is designed to fulfill the growing needs for durable batteries, quick charging, multitasking capabilities, and improved storage and display quality.

The itel P55+ provides 45W charging, which can completely charge the device in only 72 minutes.
The itel P55 is the first in its category in India to provide 24GB of RAM.
By the end of February, the upcoming P55T model will be the first smartphone in the world to use the Android 14 Go operating system.
itel’s most recent release highlights its dedication to innovation, offering top-notch features at affordable pricing. “Our range of phones continues to be highly sought after by users who are looking for smartphones with advanced processing capabilities and long-lasting battery life,” stated Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of itel India. He mentioned the release of the Android 14 Go OS as a global first, designed to improve multitasking abilities.
Both the P55 and P55+ models are designed to provide excellent performance and features in the affordable segment. The P55+ has a 256GB ROM and 16GB* RAM setup, along with a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W Type-C charging. The P55, equipped with 24GB* of RAM and 128GB of ROM, also has support for 18W Fast Charge. Both models come with a 50MP AI Dual Camera system and a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering an engaging viewing experience.

The initial promotion includes a Rs. 500 reduction on both models, with the itel P55 being sold online for INR 6999/- and the itel P55+ for INR 9499/-. The last addition to the Power series, the itel P55T, is expected to introduce Android 14 GO and a 6000mAh battery to the market by the end of February.
