Apple released iOS 17.2.1 as an upgrade that includes “significant bug fixes.” However, in China and Japan, the identical update mentioned that it “addresses an issue that may cause the battery to deplete more quickly.” It seems that the battery issues were resolved globally with the release of iOS 17.2.1, as it had the identical version number. However, this could not be accurate. Additionally, certain reports indicate that iOS 17.2.1 is experiencing an issue that prevents iPhones from connecting to cellular networks, resulting in disrupted connectivity.
