Google’s November Android Update: Fixes and Enhancements
Almost every major Android version that Google releases has some sort of difficulty at first, and the launch of Android 14 last month was no exception. Some customers who had numerous user accounts on their devices may have received an “out of space” error, or their device may have become stuck in a reboot loop after installing the update.
That is, to say the least, not ideal. Google released the November Android update for Pixels today, and happily, the bug that caused the above troubles has been fixed. As it turns out, the issue affected a wide range of devices, including the Pixel 6, Pixel 6a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, and Pixel 8. , and Pixel 8 Pro
Aside from that, the update fixes an issue that causes a green flash when the display turns off in certain conditions (on the Pixel 7 Pro), an issue that causes NFC to be unstable, an issue that causes system instability when an app requests another app that is no longer installed, an issue that causes desktop icons to disappear when you unlock, an issue that causes the wallpaper to be misaligned for devices with a notch or hole-punch, and finally an issue that causes
According to Google, the deployment will take a week to reach all smartphones in the wild. It will be released in stages, depending on the carrier and device. The new build number for the Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a 5G is UP1A.231105.001, UD1A.231105.004 for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, and UP1A.231105.003 for the remainder of the compatible devices.
