Apple’s new iPad gets a bigger screen & Smart Connector, keeps the same price
Apple has also introduced a new entry-level iPad at the launch of the iPhone 11. It has been called the 7th Generation on the Stage. It is a successor to the $ 329 device introduced in March 2018 with a 9.7-inch screen.
The new iPad has a 10.2-inch Retina display with about 3.5 million pixels. It has an A10 Fusion chip like its predecessor and is priced at as much as $ 329 the previous device, but for educational purposes, it will be sold for $ 299.
It can be pre-ordered right now in the US and 25 other countries. Delivery begins September 30.
The new iPad supports Apple Pencil and also has a smart connector. It can also be paired with Apple’s smart keyboard.
The tablet weighs just one pound and its casing is made of 100% recycled aluminum. It has the iPad OS installed, with improved multitasking, floating keyboards, SD card access in the Files app, and improved video editing in the Photos app.
Apple will provide users with a one-year subscription to Apple TV Plus free for every new iPad purchase. This new tablet also supports Apple’s new arcade gaming subscription service.
The new iPad is offered in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold color with 32GB or 128GB storage options. It has also been introduced with a Wi-Fi + Cellular model, starting at $ 459.
