Vivo is preparing to unveil its flagship X100 series smartphones on November 13. A live image of the smartphone has appeared online ahead of the debut.
A Weibo user recently posted a picture of the Vivo X100. The image just depicts the rear of the phone. The blue back panel features distinct curving patterns that were most likely inspired by the night sky. It sports a large round camera area with Zeiss branding and a flash beside it. With its curved corners, the phone appears to be comfy to grip.
The camera samples for the X100 have already been shown in a recent report. Furthermore, the phone performs admirably in benchmarks like Geekbench and AnTuTu.
According to previous sources, the standard Vivo X100 will have an f/1.57 primary camera with a Sony IMX920 or a Lytia LYT-8xx sensor. In addition, the device is expected to include a 64MP Omnivision OV64B telephoto camera. On the rear, it is reported to sport a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor. The Pro model is expected to include a similar camera system but with a 200MP primary camera.
Both devices are expected to include Zeiss Vario-Tessar (T*) lenses, as well as Vivo’s V3 image signal processor (ISP). While the vanilla variant is almost certainly going to include a Dimensity 9300 SoC, reports concerning the Pro model are less certain. According to a new Geekbench listing, the X100 Pro is equipped with the outdated Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. However, the firm is likely to launch the smartphone with either the Dimensity 9300 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU.
