Vivo V29e: Unveiling Design and Features
Anticipate the arrival of the Vivo V29e on August 28 as Vivo continues to expand its camera-centric V-smartphone series. Despite the imminent official launch, details concerning pricing and specifications have already surfaced. Building excitement around this smartphone, Vivo has also granted a sneak peek into its design and essential attributes.
At the forefront of innovation, the Vivo V29e presents an elegant design accompanied by a gracefully curved display, a design element commonly witnessed among smartphones in the sub- ₹30K price bracket. Similar to this trend, Realme introduced the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G earlier this year, showcasing a similarly slim design and curved display. More recently, Motorola unveiled its interpretation, the Motorola Edge 40, embracing a comparable design philosophy. Nevertheless, each brand incorporates distinct nuances to infuse individuality into its devices.
Vivo has once again chosen to employ color-shifting technology, a distinctive feature exclusive to the red variant of the phone. Similar technology was previously showcased on the Vivo V25. Additionally, the rear of the phone features two sizeable cutouts to house the dual rear cameras, while the front integrates a hole-punch cutout to elegantly accommodate the selfie camera.
The Vivo V29e boasts a thickness of 7.57mm, slightly more substantial than the Edge 40’s 7.49mm body. Preceding leaks suggest that the phone will showcase a 6.73-inch display, be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC with 8GB of RAM, and house a 4,600mAh battery. The device is also anticipated to support fast charging, potentially reaching speeds of at least 33W.
Vivo has officially confirmed that the phone’s primary camera, a 64-megapixel shooter, will feature optical image stabilization (OIS) to ensure smooth videos and sharper images. On the front side, a 50-megapixel selfie camera takes center stage. Vivo emphasizes that the selfie camera integrates “Eye Auto Focus” technology to enhance focus accuracy and quality. The company reaffirms the phone’s prowess in capturing night portrait photography, a defining trait of the recent Vivo V-series smartphones.
According to the official website, “Equipped with 64 megapixels and OIS, you can illuminate dim environments and capture stable, brighter night portraits with unprecedented clarity and detail.”
Information from leaks suggests that the Vivo V29e might carry a price tag of ₹25,000 in India. The presence of multiple storage configurations remains uncertain at this point.
