Verizon’s Premium Unlimited Ultimate Plan: 5G and More
Verizon is on the verge of introducing its latest offering, the Unlimited Ultimate plan, which represents the highest tier in its array of services. This eagerly awaited plan is set to make its debut tomorrow.
According to details from CNET, Verizon is preparing to unveil a new mobile subscription option as part of their My Verizon lineup, named the Unlimited Ultimate plan. This premium plan will come with a price tag of $90 per month when combined with the AutoPay feature. Subscribers who opt for the Unlimited Ultimate plan will gain access to Verizon’s cutting-edge Ultra Wideband 5G service, encompassing both the mid-band signals in the C-band spectrum and the faster yet rarer mmWave signals. Additionally, the plan offers a generous 60GB of mobile hotspot data per month, twice the allocation of the $80 per month Unlimited Plus Plan, along with an additional 10GB of high-speed International data.
First and foremost, it’s important to note that this new tier of service starts at $100 per month for an individual line. By agreeing to have your bill automatically settled through your Verizon Visa Card, bank account, or debit card each month, you’ll benefit from a billing discount that consistently reduces the price for a single line to $90. Naturally, the more service lines you have on a plan, the more cost-effective it becomes.
Unlimited Ultimate (with Auto Pay):
- Single line: $90
- Two lines: $160 ($80 per line)
- Three lines: $130 ($65 per line)
- Four lines: $220 ($55 per line)
- Five lines: $260 ($52 per line)
Furthermore, Verizon customers have the option to add extra perks for a nominal fee of $10 per month. These include features like Apple Music, a generous 2TB of Cloud Storage, Apple One, Walmart+, and other enticing offerings.
In recent times, T-Mobile has introduced a premium plan named Go5G Next, starting at $100 for an individual line, $85 per line for a pair of subscribers (totaling $170), $60 per line for a trio of subscribers (amounting to $180), and $56.25 per line for a group of four subscribers (totaling $225). The Unlimited Ultimate plan stands as Verizon’s definitive response to this offering.
The Unlimited Ultimate plan is slated to launch on August 31st, ensuring subscribers have access to high-speed data throughout the month without the worry of data throttling due to excessive usage. Furthermore, Unlimited Ultimate subscribers may find themselves eligible for enhanced upgrade deals on new phones compared to Verizon customers on other plans. Subscribers to Verizon’s top-tier plan will enjoy a notable 50% discount on the cost of adding monthly service for two connected devices, such as tablets and smartwatches.
Families within the My Verizon ecosystem have the flexibility to “mix and match,” meaning that not all members of a family plan with multiple lines are required to opt for the premium option, which will exclusively be the Unlimited Ultimate plan in a matter of days.
