Russian individual utilises ChatGPT to connect with more than 5,000 women on Tinder
The OpenAI chatbot ChatGPT has been engaging in various activities for individuals. Now it appears that dating has also been included on the list. A Russian guy has stated that a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence (AI) helped him meet and progress in his communication with his current spouse.
The individual “Alexander Zhadan” posted a lengthy message on X, previously known as Twitter, in which he disclosed his usage of ChatGPT to operate a Tinder bot that resulted in him being paired with more than 5,000 women on the platform.
In the article, he stated that he asked the girl, whom ChatGPT had been conversing with on his behalf for a year, to marry him. In the post, he states that his built bot matched and interacted with 5,239 girls that he had met to find the one girl.
In the thread, he mentions that ChatGPT occasionally led him to have six dates in a day. He also mentioned that he has multiple versions of the ChatGPT bot. He also stated that he paused doing it after he met his current partner, Karina. The Russian news agency RIA Novosti has also covered the story. “I provided ChatGPT with details regarding my communication methods.” Initially, there were difficulties as the program was unfamiliar to me, resulting in it generating nonsensical content. However, after more training, I managed to make it interact with girls similar to me,” Zhadan stated, according to the agency.
The 23-year-old disclosed that the AI bot eliminated unsuitable matches, “engaged in casual conversation on his behalf,” arranged dates, and eventually even assisted him in proposing.
He said that he also set up specific filters that would display the women he should keep chatting with in real-time. He mentioned that he utilized the AI platform to keep up his communication with her. “When Karina and I met in person, I realized that it was feasible to disrupt this system, and I trained her to be a correspondence analyst,” he added, noting that the neural network guided him on where to take the girl and what to say in specific situations. Per the software developer, Karina was not aware of the role AI had in her relationship. She discovered this information only after they had submitted their petitions to the registrar’s office. Zhadan stated that his current spouse “responded calmly” upon discovering the truth.
