The Realme GT5 smartphone has been launched, featuring an impressive 24GB of RAM and the capability for 240W fast charging. On Monday, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme revealed their latest flagship model, the Realme GT5. This new smartphone was introduced in China and showcases the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. One of its notable features is the ability for incredibly fast 240W charging. Additionally, the Realme GT5 offers various other impressive features.
Display:
The smartphone comes with a substantial 6.7-inch OLED screen that has a high refresh rate of 144Hz. This screen also supports advanced PWM dimming at 2160Hz and can reach a peak brightness of up to 1400 nits.
Processor:
Inside the Realme GT5, you’ll find the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance for different tasks. Furthermore, the Realme GT5 has received Pixelworks’s IRX gaming experience certification, enhancing its gaming capabilities.
Storage:
The Realme GT5 is available in three different versions. The first one offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, while the second provides 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The highest-end variant offers an impressive 24GB of RAM and a spacious 1TB of storage. These models will be up for pre-order in China starting from September 4, 2023.
Camera:
For those interested in photography, the Realme GT5 is equipped with a triple-camera setup. This setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there’s a 16MP wide camera designed for capturing great selfies.
Battery:
In China, the Realme GT5 comes with an outstanding 240W fast charging capability along with a 4600mAh battery. The company claims that this battery can be fully charged in just 9 minutes. Another version is also available with a 5240mAh battery, supporting 150W fast charging.
Price in India:
For the Indian market, the Realme GT5 is priced at around Rs 35,000 for the 12GB RAM version, roughly Rs 37,000 for the 16GB RAM version, and about Rs 43,000 for the high-end 24GB RAM version with 240W charging.
