Realme might reveal the debut date of the Realme 12 Pro series on January 3.
On January 1, 2024, Realme’s social media accounts in India and Indonesia shared a teaser image, hinting at an imminent announcement on January 3. Considering that this date is only one day before to Jan. 4, when the Redmi Note 13 series is scheduled to be released in India, it appears probable that Realme may announce the launch date for the Realme 12 Pro series on Jan. 3.
The Realme 12 Pro series might be released in the near future.
The Realme 12 Pro series appears to be coming soon, as the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ phones have already received approval from certification platforms in India and Indonesia. Both devices have been released with their respective model numbers, namely RMX3840 and RMX3842.
In addition, certification platforms in additional countries, such the UAE and Malaysia, have given their approval to the Realme 12 Pro series smartphones. Regrettably, the certification listings have not disclosed the essential details of the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+.
There is speculation that the Realme 12 Pro series might come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU. Both phones are anticipated to feature a curved-edge OLED display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The 12 Pro is rumoured to have a 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto camera that provides 2x optical zoom. However, the 12 Pro+ will come with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera that has a 3x optical zoom. The 12 Pro series is also anticipated to launch in China during the first quarter of 2024. In China, it is expected that the Pro+ version will be priced at approximately 2,000 Yuan (~$282).
