Fate/Samurai Residue The initial DLC is now available. in the month of February
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have unveiled a trailer for the forthcoming initial DLC pack for Fate/Samurai Remnant. The upcoming DLC is titled Record’s Fragment: Keian Command Championship and is scheduled for release in February 2024.
The trailer showcases Gilgamesh, known as the King of Heroes and a seller of textiles, declaring that he has taken control of the destinies of different masters and servants from the game. Specifics are limited, but it appears that he is organising a formal tournament version of the Waxing Moon rite. We will also need to wait and find out if this DLC tale will take place at the same time as the core Fate/Samurai Remnant story or if it will be a distinct, alternate timeline situation.
Gilgamesh is a servant that appears multiple times in the Fate franchise. He is based on the historical king of Babylon with the same name. In the original Fate/Stay Night graphic novel, he is introduced as a possible enemy. In Fate/Samurai Remnant, he is shown as a rebellious servant of the Ruler class who operates a shop in Edo known as ‘Babyloni-ya’.
Fate/Samurai Remnant was launched in September 2023, and a recent update introduced a Battle Recollection mode that allows players to control several rogue and enemy servants. Takashi Takeuchi and Rei Wataru, artists, also talked about the initial development and designs of the game in an interview with Famitsu in October.
The initial installment of downloadable content (DLC) for Fate/Samurai Remnant can be obtained by purchasing the season pass and is scheduled to be released in February 2024. The base game is easily accessible for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.
