AMD’s Forthcoming ‘Strix Point’ Ryzen 8000 Series Poised to Harness Zen 5 and Zen 5c Cores: A Report

The next-generation ‘Strix Point’ accelerated processing unit, a herald of AMD’s Ryzen 8000 series, seems poised to deliver a substantial impact, boasting an assembly of twelve Zen 5-class cores and an overhauled integrated GPU rooted in the RDNA 3.5 architecture. These speculations have emerged courtesy of a disclosure from the esteemed Golden Pig Upgrade Pack, as relayed through HXL. As per the leak, AMD’s anticipated ‘Strix Point’ APU within the Ryzen 8000 series will incorporate four fully-fledged Zen 5 cores, each graced with a 16 MB L3 cache, along with eight Zen 5c cores, each adorned with an 8 MB L3 cache. This powerful amalgamation will also house an integrated GPU boasting 8 WGPs (equating to 1024 stream processors), all intricately founded upon the RDNA 3.5 architecture.
