Redmi K70 Pro Display Specs formally

The 10th anniversary of Redmi is November 29, and Xiaomi’s Product Director, Wang Teng Thomas, announced today on Weibo that the launch event for the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro is set for that day. Right now, the official release is only a few hours away.

A 4000 nits peak brightness promise with integrated eye care solutions

The “second-generation 2K screen” on the Redmi K70 Pro display is TCL and has a maximum brightness of 4000 nits. The screen offers significant improvements in a number of areas, including colours and touch sampling rate. But perhaps most significantly, it has integrated eye care features.

In order to put this into practise, Redmi has partnered with eye hospitals to develop eye care solutions and encourage the thorough evolution of eye care standards under medical supervision.

The screen is equipped with a TCL C8 second-generation display panel, which is said to provide low power consumption for a given brightness, enabling the 4000nit rating. It is unclear, though, if the panel as a whole has a brightness of 4000 nits or just a smaller section of it. To put this in perspective, the Xiaomi 14 can reach a maximum brightness of 2800 nits, but only within a 10% window when watching HDR video in bright light.

Going back to the K70 Pro, it also has a high-frequency PWM dimming of 3840Hz, which is uncommon in 2K panels. The phone has three cameras: a 50MP primary lens, a 2x telephoto lens, and an additional camera. OIS stabilisation is also supported by the primary camera.

The phone has a “clear snow” colour, which is pure white. It has a glass back and a glossy aluminium frame in a flat style.

As opposed to the 8GB models of the past, @UniverseIce disclosed yesterday that the entire series has a 12GB RAM option as the base.
