Explore the latest One UI 6.0 Android 14 update from Samsung, including eligible devices and top features. Upgrade your Galaxy experience today!

The One UI 6.0 Android 14 update for supported devices has been out for a few days. Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series was the first to receive the update. With over 15 million units sold worldwide, this lineup alone delivers the excitement of the most recent firmware update to a big number of Samsung Galaxy consumers worldwide.

It’s only a matter of time before the update is made available to all eligible devices. There are a lot of them, so after the deployment is complete, more than 100 million Galaxy smartphones will be updated to the latest version of Android and Samsung’s One UI.

Because many Samsung smartphones now receive four years of Android OS upgrades, many earlier generation devices will also receive this update. Many of the company’s most recent flagships are clearly included. If you’re wondering whether your device is eligible for One UI 6.0, take a look at this list of approved devices.

Features of Top One UI 6.0

While One UI 6.0 includes a slew of new features and enhancements, here are three of the most notable additions to this firmware update. Check out our comprehensive guide to everything new in One UI 6.0 to learn more about each and every new feature included in this version.

The Quick Panel now has a new button layout.

One UI 6.0 introduces a new button arrangement for the Quick Panel, making it much easier to reach the features you use the most. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, for example, now have distinct buttons at the top of the screen. Less frequently used features, such as the Eye comfort shield, have been relegated to the bottom. In the center, there’s a customizable section where you can rearrange the buttons.
    Sorting notifications has been improved.

We use hundreds of apps, each of which sends dozens of notifications. Sorting through them can be a headache, as new notifications are sometimes buried beneath a pile of prior ones. One UI 6.0 improves notification sorting by allowing you to arrange notifications by time. This ensures that you can always simply find the most current notice, regardless of how many are already in the queue.
Calls with Bixby should be transcribed.

With the Bixby Text function in One UI 6.0, you can easily transcribe your phone calls. When this feature is activated, it turns what the caller is saying into text. You can even input text responses, which are then read back to the caller in Bixby’s voice. Bixby Text was previously only available before a call was picked up, but it is now also available during a call.

In the following weeks, Samsung will roll out the One UI 6.0 Android 14 update to more devices. The Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip foldable will most likely come first in line, followed by other flagship ranges such as the Galaxy S22. In any case, the business will offer joy to more than 100 million of its Galaxy users in the near future.
