Nvidia's RTX 3090 Super Aesthetic Excellence in Ebony

An unreleased, entirely ebony-hued GeForce RTX 3090 Super has emerged, exuding an aura of sheer magnificence. A recent image of Nvidia’s yet-to-be-revealed graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3090 Super, has been unveiled on Twitter by the user @KittyYYuko, presenting a sleek Founders Edition design shrouded in deepest black.

Revealing the card’s user-facing rear aspect, the image showcases Nvidia’s Founders Edition (FE) cooler equipped with a dual-fan configuration, orchestrated in a push/pull setup. The card’s aesthetics are striking, with its entire façade cloaked in obsidian, including the Nvidia logo and the Super insignia, bestowing upon it an exclusive and alluring allure, ideally suited for discrete and sophisticated PC builds. However, it’s worth noting that a previous snapshot from a year ago hinted at the possibility of LED illumination adorning the front heatsink—a peculiarity seldom seen in Nvidia’s FE products.

In terms of dimensions, using the PCIe’s standard 89mm measurement as a benchmark, the card appears to be approximately 300mm in length and 120mm in width and is equipped with 100mm fans for cooling, a configuration that closely aligns with the RTX 3090 FE’s dimensions of 336mm x 140mm x 61mm.

Although this Super variant has made sporadic appearances online in the past, including a closer examination of its fan and heatsink, it is essential to maintain a level of skepticism, considering the possibility that this may be a counterfeit or a custom-modified cooling solution. It is noteworthy that Team Green abandoned the Super variant in favor of a Ti model, renowned for its unparalleled performance capabilities.

In any event, Nvidia’s current focus has shifted towards the RTX 4000 series and the potential introduction of the RTX 5000 series, leaving no room for a new RTX 3090 Super. The prospect of Super variants within the 40-series seems far more plausible, contingent upon market demand, especially given that many users have expressed a degree of indifference towards this current GPU generation. With the hope, that the next generation will bring substantial enhancements without pushing prices to astronomical heights.
