Elegant iQOO Z7 Pro: Curved Display, Powerful Chipset & More
The iQOO Z7 Pro has been unveiled in the Indian market, showcasing its elegant curved display, ring flash feature, powerful Dimensity 7200 chipset, and more. After a tantalizing buildup over the past few days, iQOO has at last introduced the iQOO Z7 Pro to the Indian audience as planned. As the name implies, this device represents an enhanced iteration of the iQOO Z7 released earlier this year, which, within a matter of weeks, was succeeded by the iQOO Z7s.
Dissimilar from other phones under the iQOO brand, the iQOO Z7 Pro sets itself apart. This is because it is a rebranded version of the Vivo S17e, a product marketed in China. Let’s delve into the attributes of this handset, as well as its pricing and availability.
Specifications of the iQOO Z7 Pro
The iQOO Z7 Pro bears a striking resemblance to a member of the Vivo S17 series due to its lineage. It boasts a distinctive circular LED flash on its rear, coupled with a sleek and lightweight design. With a slender profile measuring merely 7.36mm and a weight of 175g, it offers both elegance and practicality. The device features gracefully curved surfaces on both its front and rear, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic grip.
The heart of this handset revolves around a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, graced with a centrally placed punch-hole camera and safeguarded by Schott Xensation glass. Sporting a 10-bit panel, the screen renders images at a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), yielding 388 pixels per inch (PPI). The display further embraces a refresh rate of 120Hz and an impressive 300Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, the smartphone derives its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, seamlessly integrated with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and an innovative VC liquid cooling system. The device boots the Funtouch OS 13, which is built upon the foundation of Android 13.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual-camera arrangement, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, a 16MP snapper stands ready to capture selfies and facilitate video calls.
Moreover, the device features an in-screen fingerprint sensor, although it lacks the presence of dual stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity, it offers support for dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port.
Notably, the smartphone derives its energy from a 4,600mAh battery, which can be charged rapidly at 66W.
