Reportedly, the irrigation department official granted Rajesh verbal consent to extract a few feet of water from the reservoir, facilitating the retrieval of his smartphone. The food inspector subsequently procured a diesel-powered water pump, orchestrating the extraction of a staggering 2.1 million liters of water over a span of three days, channeling it into the canals. This grand volume of water carries immense value, particularly in a state like Chattisgarh, where numerous regions grapple with shortages.

Having nearly exhausted the contents of the overflow sector, Rajesh eventually recovered his Galaxy S23 Ultra. Regrettably, the device had succumbed to irreparable damage due to its extended submersion. Upon learning of Rajesh’s audacious endeavor, another irrigation officer promptly lodged a complaint with the relevant authorities and departments, leading to Rajesh’s suspension from his official duties.

Adding to the astonishment, the food inspector later produced a video that he disseminated on social media, elucidating that the water he had discharged would serve no purpose and would have otherwise evaporated during the summer months.
