WhatsApp Introduces ‘Screen Sharing’ Feature for Android Beta Users | Enhanced Communication Experience
WhatsApp unveils the remarkable addition of a ‘screen sharing’ functionality exclusively for its esteemed beta users on the Android platform.
The inclusion of ‘screen sharing’ augments the overall user experience, presenting a more efficient means of communication.
With this novel feature, users are empowered to seamlessly share their screens, enabling others to witness real-time presentations of documents, photographs, or any other digital content displayed on their own devices.
To commence screen sharing, beta users simply need to tap on the attachment icon within a chat and select the distinguished Screen Share option. Once activated, the recipient shall gain visibility into the sender’s screen.
It is worth noting that this exclusive feature is currently limited to WhatsApp beta users on the esteemed Android platform.
Moreover, the renowned instant messaging platform, owned by Meta, has now introduced an ingenious functionality that enables users to modify messages they have previously transmitted.
To effect changes, a simple long-press upon the desired message is all that is required, followed by the selection of the distinguished Edit option from the menu. It is important to note that text editing capabilities are only accessible within a 15-minute time window following the transmission of the message.
Upon editing a dispatched message, the amended version shall be duly labeled as Edited when viewed by others, thereby ensuring transparency and precluding any covert actions. However, the historical record of edits itself shall remain undisclosed.
