To become a volunteer, interested individuals can fill out a digital form on the PM Office portal. The registration process requires volunteers to provide their name, age, phone number, and union council. It is important to note that only individuals over the age of 18 are eligible to register for the Corona Relief Tiger Force. The registration deadline is April 10.
The primary responsibility of the volunteers is to deliver food to vulnerable segments of society in their respective union councils. They will work under the supervision of the deputy commissioners of each district. In the event of a lockdown, the force will distribute food and identify individuals who are hoarding supplies.
Additionally, the volunteers will also monitor suspected cases at quarantine centers to ensure that proper measures are being taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
