Samsung's Flagship Phones Face Stuttering Issue with In-House App Store

Samsung’s Flagship Phones Face Stuttering Issue with In-House App Store. Samsung’s latest flagships, the Galaxy S23 series, are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 ‘For Galaxy’ chip, which has improved the phones’ performance significantly. These phones run fast and smoothly, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra has an impressive battery life. However, some users have reported a stuttering issue when scrolling through the Galaxy Store app, which is developed by Samsung itself.

The Galaxy Store app seems to have been overlooked during the optimization of the Galaxy S23 series. On all models, the app’s screen refresh rate drops below 60Hz, making scrolling through the store slower than even mid-range Samsung phones that don’t support a refresh rate above 60Hz. Some users have reported this issue, and it is not clear whether an update introduced it to the Galaxy Store or through the standard software updates received by the Galaxy S23 lineup.

The slow scrolling issue in Samsung’s Flagship Phone’s Galaxy Store could be frustrating for users who prefer to use Samsung’s app store instead of Google’s. This issue highlights how there are still some problems that Samsung needs to iron out, even though its new flagships have impressive overall performance. Hopefully, Samsung will take note of this issue and fix it soon to maintain the smooth performance of the Galaxy S23 series.

It is worth noting that many users ignore the Galaxy Store altogether, considering it another redundant offering from Samsung that replicates what is already available from Google, and it does not provide any significant benefits. However, the Galaxy Store app is used by some people, and it is disappointing to experience slow scrolling on Samsung’s own app store.
