Google is currently developing its own internal product, similar to Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E, for the purpose of image creation. Alongside this endeavor, Google is also engaged in other artificial intelligence (AI) projects aimed at enhancing its advertising capabilities. CNBC has reported on these initiatives. Google has approved plans to utilize generative AI, powered by large language models (LLMs), in order to automate advertising and provide ad-supported consumer services.

According to the report, Google’s ongoing efforts involve the creation of an internal product akin to Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E, which enable the rapid generation of images in various styles based on user-provided text instructions. Microsoft has also introduced its own AI tool for image generation on Edge and Bing. The company offers users a daily replenishment of 100 free credits. In order to increase accessibility, Google may potentially integrate its image-generation tool with Search.

Prior to the Google I/O event, Google unveiled PaLM 2, its latest LLM trained on text data, capable of generating responses and commands that resemble human-like interactions. The documents referenced in the report reveal that specific teams within Google are now considering the use of PaLM 2-powered tools, which would empower advertisers to create their own media assets and suggest video ideas to YouTube content creators.

In the realm of YouTube, Google has been testing PaLM 2 within the context of youth-oriented content, such as video titles and descriptions. For content creators, this technology has been employed to experiment with the generation of five video ideas based on relevant topics.

Earlier this year, Google Bard faced initial challenges, but the technology giant has since successfully introduced the conversational AI chatbot to over 180 countries, including India. Although still in the testing phase, there is no waiting period for users to access this feature. The official announcement was made during Google I/O 2023.
